What is the thinking behind having the McAfee MOVE port be 9053 vs use the same port as McAfee agent 8080? Clients already have the McAfee agent port 8080 open through there firewalls, so why make them go and open a second port? Is it for cleanliness, so if we see port 9053 going through the network I should know it's McAfee MOVE traffic vs. port 8080 which could be McAfee agent traffic? Seems cleaner to just say, if I see traffic over port 9053, then I know that should be mcafee related traffic plain and simple. 8080 as an alternate http port is stupid, while I'm at it.
