Remotely trigger a DAT update/check

I've got 600 Macs running McAfee Security v 1.2 w/ePO agent 4.6.0.2918.

About 100 have DATs that are over 10 days old. How can I remotely trigger a check for updates?

Is cmdagent option -C all I need... ?

/Library/McAfee/cma/bin/cmdagent -C

thanks

Darrin

Re: Remotely trigger a DAT update/check

If it works the same as the Windows agent then no that will only force the agent to communicate with ePO and fresh its policies and task not actually run them.

Now if you were to create a new task to force an immediate DAT update and then run the command then it will work.
