We are using McAfee NSM 7.5 and we are using some customised queries to extract data.
In one of the query we found that "version" is extracted from "version" column of "iv_attack" table and it contains value 7.2.
Can anybody tell me, what this column represent and why it is populating 7.2 and not 7.5?
This is an internal version identifier for the version of the individual signature. This helps us track the revision changes that happen on signatures, but probably isn't very useful to a customer.
Thanks Greg, for responding quickely and for detailed information.
Sorry to bothering you again on this, but could you please tell me, which table contain actual version information related to product?

It's easier to see the value in the text config file under \App\config\ems.properties, but you can query it in the database with the below query:
select value from iv_emsproperties where name='iv.core.currentems.version';
