I just received a microsoft crash report that indicated a system may have been infected by win32small.CA. I remotely scanned the OS, user profile and program files folders by connecting to the UNC path and then using the right click scan for threats. Nothing was found, but I cannot find any logs detailing the scan, is this normal?
Logging is done by MFEANN.exe; make sure it's running (it should be a child process to VSTSKMGR.EXE).
When the scan is running you can open the [Properties] to inspect where the log is being written; make sure it's where you expect.
Default is %DEFLOGDIR%\OnDemandScanLog.txt
If all looks correct but no log, I suggest contacting Support to look into it further.
