Do you use more than 1 WebGateway? We had the same problem in the past.
I think 1and1 have a check on their site, from which ip address you connect.
We use nexthop proxy in the DMZ.
For me the solution is, that we make a list of domains, that use our proxy server as failover, all other domains use our proxy server as round robin.
I hope you can configure it for you.
Hi Florian, thanks for your help,
Yes, we´ve got 8 Web Gateway appliances.
All internet access are balanced and also we´ve got two different ISP providers.
We can´t implement that nexhop proxy solution, so now the question we´re wondering is how to get that the appliance keep the persistence in the connection by itself.
Does anybody performed a way to get it?
Thanks in advance.
If you have a firewall between your WebGateways and the Internet, perhaps you can use the nat of the firewall, then you have one ip for all internet traffic.
How do you balance the traffic?
