          hi

Please check if you can get the SQL Express installation to complete by running it manually from the installation folder. The SQL Express version bundled with ePO resides in the setup\sql2k8express folder.

You can extract the SQLEXPR2008R2SP1_x64_ENU.exe file to a folder and run the SQL Server express setup manually.

              Hi Oenrico,

The installer should only attempt to install SQL Express if there is not already an instance of SQL Server (or Express) running on the system. So I am not sure how the setup ends up attempting to reinstall SQL Express.

Please log a case with support so we can assist you over a remote session.

              Regards,

              Saiilendra

                  Hi,

Go to control panel and remove all sql related install instances like server Native client etc.

Go to install directory and remove SQL server folder.

                  Reinstall again.
