RSS updating problem in outlook, when access protection is enabled?

Please help. We can't update rss in outlook when access protection is enable. Everything works well. We can send and receive email. Outlook has full access to network, except rss. When we disable access protection, rss updates well. Please help, how to give access rss to the network?

It worked well with outlook 2007, but it stopped to work with 2010 & 2013.

We appreciate your support.

Well, I am not sure, but what does the On-Access Scan Log indicate?

What version(s) of VSE are you using?

What changes from the default configuration of VSE, have you made?

Not that this is recommended, consider disabling ScriptScan temporarily as a test, to see if this is the cause of the problem. Remember to re-enable it afterwards.

It sounds as if you Upgraded Outlook and the problem started. If so, you may want to delete Extend.Dat in the users profile and test again.

    Look here for W7/Vista: %localappdata%\microsoft\outlook

    Look here for WXP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Delete Extend.dat while Outlook is NOT running, Then start Outlook again; it will reconstruct Extend.dat automatically, with the correct extensions only.

    Hope this gets you started.

    Hello,

What events are logged on the Access Protection log locally at these machines?

You need to know the rule and the process that is being blocked and create an exception for this process.
