As the subject says, I get this error and then it continues to re-download until it's succesful. Maybe 3 hours later it actually succeeds. Then the error returns. Any idea how to fix it?
File catalog.z could not be verified. Downloading complete file again.
Host is managed by ePO but is grey in ePO. Running 4.6.2935 agent and VSE 8.8.0925

Is this issue happening at the client machines when updating or when ePO pulls from McAfee repositories?
If it's ocurring with the client machines you can try to a full replication to that repository which is being used by clients to download updates (if a repository structure is in place) or you can try a full pull from McAfee repositories (if machines are downloading directly from master repository).
Another thing you could try is to rebuild the catalog.z with this article:
Also, you mentioned that your ePO is grey, I believe you are talking about the dashboard that shows the most recent DAT and the DAT version that you have.
You need to make sure that you have port 8801 allowed from ePO to internet.
