    Hardware RAID Status Confirmation

      Hello,

       

      On both 7.x and 8.x is there somewhere I can confirm the status of the RAID 1 set.

       

      I have a firewall that I don't have physical access to and would like to check the RAID status remotely. Perhaps GUI or CLI?

          Hello,

           

          The main way of checking RAID status is to reboot the firewall appliance and go into the RAID setup. The other option which might help is the IPMI tool that runs on the Firewall OS CLI. Here is some more information about that:

            I do remember something on 6.x where you could issue some CLI magic and it would show the status of the RAID and physical drives.

             

            Handy if I could remember it, though...
