Device Control Notifications

Hi, we have recently deployed device control module to end-users. We have set it up to monitor usb devices and notify the users if their devices are being monitored. When users copy files to these monitored devices, they get a notification that the device is being monitored. This becomes an issue when several files are being copied as the notification keeps popping up for each file. Is there a way to limit the notification to just once, only when the device is first connected?

    Re: Device Control Notifications

If you are using Removable Storage Protection rule, the notification will show up for each file copied to the device. Disable Notify User option for the Removable Storage Protection Rule and instead rely just on Removable Storage Device Rule.

I do not see a reason to Notify User when there is no Blocking involved. Even for monitoring, unless you limit it to specific files, notification for all files will only serve to annoy.
