Are you selecting 'domain name' or 'server name'? Please select 'server name'. Are you able to telent on port 636 from ePO to DC?
Server name - and yes I can telnet to dc on port 636 - any other ideas?
I have the same problem. I tried enabling and disabling SSL but no luck.
I have the exact same problem. I have been able to connect from the ePO server to the AD using LDP.exe. Is this an issue with ePO 4.6.5?
I had this problem, and I disabled windows firewall and it resolved, you may try this.
Also lem me know, What LDAP type are you trying to register? there is no issue with ePO regarding LADP registration.
If it is Active Directory, Are you following these steps?
LDAP server Type: Active Directory
Server Name: Domain name abcd.com or put your server name
User name : domain\user for AD account eg : globalworld\zack Note: if you are using your server name instead of domain then provide login credentilas for your server machine.
