Is this XP SP3 and up to date with Microsoft Updates?
Also can you check if IE8 is installed (it should be) - reason I ask is that McAfee relies on an up to date IE regardless of default browser, and set to its default settings.
Also please open SecurityCenter and click 'About' and tell me what version of SecurityCenter and VirusScan are installed.
Try running the Virtual Technician to see if it finds and fixes anything: http://mvt.mcafee.com/
Thanks for the fast response!

Well that seems all OK. Maybe it's become corrupted somehow. Not sure what to advise other than uninstall, run the MCPR cleanup as listed under Useful Links at the top of the page, reboot and reinstall from your online account.
Or, contact Technical Support. Also linked under Useful Links. It's free by phone or online chat.
You can also try running the McAfee update. If any mcafee files are corrupted, it will download and re-install the files.
