Hi,You can update your move version to 2.6.I read release notes which add fuction of monitorring sva...
GooD luck to you!
rangerlj: What you are referring to I assume is this line in the relase notes:
McAfee MOVE AntiVirus Multi-Platform
• Ability to monitor scan server status for failure and notify
This is for MOVE M-P. We're running agentless, and other than the following lines in the documentation, there is nothing really worth talking about around monitoring the SVAs in an automated manner:
Monitoring the SVA
Monitor the status of the SVA using the Threat Event Log in ePolicy Orchestrator, or the Health and
Alarms feature in VMware vShield Endpoint.
Looking at the Threat Event logs and monitoring events in vShield Endpoint is rather manual, I'm looking for something more automated around the lines of SNMP traps or the likes. Spoke with my TAM and the only answer I could get is to install a 3rd-party SNMP daemon on the SVA themselves and use the standard linux MIBs. Of course this is not officially supported.
Maybe ePO could collect some event ID from SVA.You can create auto-response.......
It's just one idea for you.
