I got a 3 years mcafee internet security e card with the lenovo laptop in Thailand. When I register, I am trying to choos United states but the system replied "the language did not matched with the card.
What can I do?
at the back of the card specified:
Thank you in advance
it appears to be valid only for the Australia, Philippines, Malaysia or Singapore servers - all English speaking . You appear to be located in Thailand.
Actually Australia is always the first to get the latest version of the software so is there a problem using that one?
If it's a problem take it up with whomever you bought it from, Lenovo or McAfee Customer Service for your area at telephone number 001 8004412010 or here:

Last month I bought a Lenovo laptop and it comes with a 3 year McAfee Internet Security E-card. They installed a "trial version" first on my computer and told me that when the trial expires, then I can use my card and just input the key. I also registered to the mcafee website.
Days before the trial expires, I tried to use the card. I log in to http://www.mcafee.com/registerlenovoasean and followed the instructions listed. I thought that once I input my e-card key, I can automatically use my 3 year subscription and my trial will just be ignored. however, the trial version still continues and now it expired. It tells me that I need to buy a subscription blah blah.
How can I activate my e-card then? I already put the key so putting the key the next time will just give me an answer that that key has already been used. When I checked my account, it tells me that I already purchased the license and will expire on 2016. Now I wonder how can I usse it? I already uninstall mcafee and re-installing it again.
Uninstall the trial using Control Panel > Programs
Run the MCPR cleanup tool and reboot.
Then go to that link and use your Ecard to download a completely new suite.
If there's a problem call (or use the online chat) Customer Service to sort out the Ecard issue
via the link under Useful Links at the top of this page. or here: http://service.mcafee.com/faq/country.html

Sorry not sure if you had already read the above response, I just added a bit to it.
It just occurred to me if you already registered the Ecard then there will be an account registered in your name so just sign in here: https://home.mcafee.com/secure/protected/login.aspx and hopefully the new download will be there.
Do that after completely removing all McAfee software as I described earlier.
I bought a Lenovo z500 laptop and also comes with a 3 year McAfee Internet Security E-card. I have successfully used it for the first time in my new laptop. However, when I format the laptop, this McAfee Internet Security was gone. When I key in the key on the e-card to the link that given, it says that the product already redeemed. So how can i get back the anti virus protection? My account also does not show any sign of the previous subcription. Please help and hope to get your reply soon.Thanks.
You best discuss this with Customer service we mods have no access to account data.
Oh there wasn't a restore to as new Cd (rescue) with the laptop?
You can only activate from the ecard once, but after that as you no doubt have activated the product anyway you will continue to have an online account from where you can download the software.
I do have somewhat similar.
My sister bought a lenovo laptop last year. I tried to register with the same ../registerlenovoasean and was successful, however, i failed to download the mcaffee product.
Then, i tried to redeem it but failed. It states "This registration number has already been used to redeem a McAfee product. Please check the registration number and try again.".
