    Re: Enhanced McAfee Checks

    Hi Tony,

That means the existing scripts are updated.  Either with changed logic or documentation.  They are automatically updated as long as you receive the FSL Packages via FSupdate.

If you follow the link to the PDF report, you can see the specific script and what was updated.  For example:

    http://www.mcafee.com/us/content-release-notes/foundstone/index.aspx

Then in the January 11th release, page down the the "Enhanced...:" section. You will see entries like this:

14564 - (MS13-007) Vulnerability in Open Data Protocol Could Allow Denial of Service (2769327)

Category: Windows Host Assessment -> Patches Only

    (CATEGORY REQUIRES CREDENTIALS)

    Risk Level: High

    CVE: CVE-2013-0005

    Microsoft ID: MS13-007

    Microsoft KB: 2769327

    Update Details

    CVE is updated.

    I hope that helps!

I believe what Cathy means is that the check script was modified- and that once you allow FSUpdate to complete this check will automatically be available in MVM
