Host Intrusion Prevention (Host IPS) 8.0.0 Patch 2 Hotfix 771202

Just for clarifications sake...When I read "Host IPS 8.0.0 Patch 2 Hotfix 771202 updates Host IPS Client 8.0.0 Patch 2 only." in the McAfee KB76210 I am assuming that my machines with HIPS 8.0.0.1919 (RTW) will not get this Hotfix even if I have the Hotfix in the Current branch and a Client Task to install HIPS 8.0 Hotfixes. I would like to limit the network disconnects so that is why I ask. Also if the Hotfix is a known issue within HIPS 8.0.0.2151(Patch2) why has McAfee not released a patch version that includes the Hotfix that was released in July 2012? It is a bit of a pain to have to install Patch 2 then turn right around and have to install Hotfix 771202 especially when I am dealing with 16,000+ machines in a healthcare setting. Thanks in advance.
