We are and it* seemed to start yesterday.

I should add; the problem stops if groupshield is stopped.

I haven't come across this issue before - any more details on Server(s), Exchange Sps, What Roles etc?? Or Just a standalone server hosting all necessary roles??
Is it VSAPI or Transport Scanning causing issue?? Or if using VSAPI scanning does Proactive scanning enabled/disabled make a difference??
Are there specific Blackberry or Exchange errors reported to event log??
