    EETech on OPAL Hard Drives

    kink80

I have been testing the functionality of EETech 6.2.0.296 on a machine with a Self Encrypting Drive (SED) that is listed as being supported by EEPC. First of all I am using WinPE to create the EETech disk and everything works fine up until I try to authenticate to the machine using the Token option yields an EE020006 "Endpoint Encryption disk information not present" when I use the File method it authenticates but I still cannot view the contents of the hard drive. When I used this same disk on a machine that was using "Software Encryption" I was able to Authenticate via token or File and also view the contents of the hard drive. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't I be able to access the data on the disk of I have authenticated and authorized? Thanks in advance.
