When we try to go to http://da.ks.gov/purch/contracts/default.aspx then use the search features on the left. The screen churns along and then, most of the time, after the default times out. Some times if you hit the back button on the browser and then hit 'go' again it loads just fine.
This work perfectly outside of the proxy. Any thought are appreciated.
First thing you want to do is to get a tcp dump for this traffic.
We see that the traffic is not being returned to the MWG. But when we run the get from outside everything works perfectly?
I just tested with my lab MWG and I was able to access the website without any problem. As Xavier recommended I would create a packet capture and see what is going on. Maybe compare the request MWG sends to the server with the request sent by a client when the access works fine and look for any differences.
Probably the easiest option is to file a service request with Tech Support.
We did open a ticket and provide the dump. It appears that the end server was not responding. It appears to be fixed now.
