Not sure off the top of my head if you can disable androids specifically but you can use provisioning tokens to only allow people to provision 1 device at a time and upon request. Let users know that only ios devices are allowed and if you see anything else pop up in the helpdesk then remove it and contact the user to remind them that only ios devices are allowed.
first I want to wish a happy new year to everyone!
using provisioning tokens seems to be a good workaround for our problem.
Do you know if already running users will be affected if we use provisioning tokens?
Thanks, you too.
No provisioning tokens only effect your ability to provision a new device. Devices that are already provisioned should not be effected.
yes that works. But now I ran in another problem:
We have a Helpdeskadministrator which is assigned with the Helpdesk-Administrator role. When he executes Helpdesk --> "Update Token", no user is displayed. The progress bar at the bottom of the popup "Update Token" is running...
If I change the Administrator role to "System Administrator" the users will be displayed after a few seconds.
Is that a bug? Couldn't find anything in the Knowledgebase about that issue.
I expected, if a button "Update Token" is available it should work, or am I wrong?!?
