    Change Scan Time Out value?



      Can anyone tell me (in ePO 4.5) if  there is a scan time out value that is set and if so, how can I change it?

          That's a very general question to answer well without knowing which point product is in use, and if we're talking about on-access or on-demand scans.

          Anyway, assuming VSE 8.8:


          On-access timeout value is found in the On-Access General Policy. Default=45 seconds.

          On-demand timeout is not explicitly defined, but performance is controlled in the client scan task - performance tab.

          Both mirror the options avaiable in the local product interface.
