Duplicate Installed Products

Hello Everyone,

 

I've looked at this post but no solution is listed:´╗┐ https://community.mcafee.com/message/161954

 

It's title, "´╗┐Multiple entries for the same PC"  - I'm having the same issue on a couple of systems (Servers).

 

We have uninstalled and reinstalled the agent but the problem persists.

 

Each product installed is showing as follows:

 

McAfee Agent, McAfee Agent 4.5.0.1852, VirusScan Enterprise, VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0.570, etc... for all the installed products.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    The quickest and easiest approach is to remove the machine from ePO - don't select the "uninstall agent" option - and when the machine communicates again it will reappear in ePO with the correct details.
