This one's a bit obscure. I don't know much about cwRsync except what I've just been finding out, but on their product forum there's a post which just might apply to your situation (link below). Have you checked their user forums for similar problems, or asked a question there?

I don't know if there's much expertise in that product that I can track down in McAfee. If you're really stuck, I can ask around.

I went through suggested forum and still expecting an answer.
Note that the same setup on another Windows 7/64 PC equipped with Kaspersky (sorry) works !
I received my PC with McAfee presinstalled but I am afraid I will have to remove it.
