HTTP 500 Internal Server Error When Accessing ePO Web Interface

    hiteshp

      Hi All,

I'm new to this forum so please bear with me.

I have installed the latest version of ePO and VIRUSSCAN on to a VM server for about a month now.

The VM Administrator want to move the server to a new version of VM (Moving from VMWARE 3.5 to 4.1 ) to which I said go for your life.

Server moved over successfully, but when I attempted to access the web interface, I get the HTTP 500 error message.

After trawling through the forums where I found some useful information, I check the following log file:

      C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB\Logs\server.log

      and found the following:

The <Domainname\Username> is my logon details to the domain.  When I carried out the installation of ePO I did a standard install and when it can to the part of installing SQL, I used the SQL Express Install which instructed me to using my logon details to the domain.  I wanted to see if we could move the database to a fully managed SQL server, but never got around to carrying out the task.  I had to change my password last week, but I was able to use ePO and mananged to deploy VIRUSSCAN to a server.

I'm having trouble believing that a simple server move within VM could cause this issue.

Has anyone else see this and know of a solution?

      I'm running:

      ePO 4.6.3

      VIRUSSCAN 8.8

      Windows 2008 R2 64bit Standard

      VMWARE was 3.5 now 4.1

      Any help is greatly appreciated.

      Regards

      Hitesh
