Buffer Overflow protection & .NET 2.0

We are running the latest version of Entercept updated with all patches. We have noticed a severe performance issue with Entercept & .NET 2.0. We've taken our 1.1 web application, converted it 2.0 and deployed it to the same server that was running 1.1. The 1.1 version of .NET was fine with Entercept. The 2.0 version is drastically slower.

This has been validated by load testing with Entercept on and off confirmed by Microsoft engineers reading the memory dumps. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any workaround other than disabling buffer overflow protection? Entercept with the buffer overflow engine enabled causes the app to run about 10x slower than with Entercept off.
