They can sort out the subscription issue.
The quickest service is via phone or online chat however, but that is only available Monday to Friday.
The retail software will not be compatible with Windows 8 Pro RTM until it's official release later this month then a major update will arrive to make it so.
The beta MSC 12.1 software is already compatible and I have it installed on my Windows 8 Pro RTM OS.

Althought it says I can contact then my email or chat, I am not able to do it, because I cannot click anywhere, there are neither links nor items to chose it. There is a circle drawn before every option, but they are not active. I am sorry to my bad English. They are gray intead of black, I hope you to understand what I try to right.
