    Logon Screen Banner Removal

Our Security Dept would prefer that the PBE logon screen be as generic as possible. I was able to replace the wallpaper with a solid color, however I can't figure out how to remove the McAfee banner from the logon screen itself. Is there a way to do this?

Not really no - you could in theory unpack the theme, change the XML and graphics etc, then pack it back together again, but that wouldn't be something you could get regular technical support on - you'd have to use prof services if it went wrong.

Usually people want to do this because they think it will make it harder for someone to hack the system - really it does not make any difference - it's obvious it's EEPC, even the boot loader indicates that. Changing the logo doesn't change things.

            According to https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB66700

"What are the requirements for an EEPC 6.x custom theme?
Create the custom theme according to the following requirements:

            • An image with dimensions 1024 x 768 and ensure the file format is .PNG
            • A file size of around 600 KB"
