1 Download and install EEPC 6.1 Patch 2.
2 Extract McAfeeEEPC612.zip and open the Endpoint Encryption Misc directory.
3 Open the Endpoint Encryption Admin Tools directory, extract EEAdminTools.zip, and locate the
This file must be distributed to your client systems.
4 Log on to McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and navigate to Menu | Policy | Policy Catalog, select Endpoint
Encryption 1.1.2 (or later) from the Product drop-down menu, and then select Product Settings from the
Category drop down.
5 Click on the policy that you want to change.
6 On the General tab, select Allow Temporary Automatic booting .
If this option is not selected, you cannot use EpeTemporaryAutoboot.exe on the client.
7 Send an agent wake up call, so that they receive this new policy.
You can now use this feature on the client systems.
Is it possible to copy the EpeTemporaryAutoboot.exe to users local and use it for McAfee 5.2.11 Enviroenment ?
I extremely need this solution in my SCCM deployments.
No - you need to use sbadmcl for eepc5
Do you mean adding -Autoboot and removing it at the end of task sequence ? For this case any interruption of deployment can cause autoboot assigned to computer and it is a risky situation
Is there any syntax for boot the machine once? therefore I can run everytime I would like to restart in my Task sequence.
What should be the command like ?
-command:Adduser - Machine:%computername% -user:$AutoBoot$
yes, pretty much - you need to read the scripting guide, and remember you can't put $ or % on a command line without quotation marks around the value.
but no, there's no "boot once only" command with EEPC5, you need to remove the autoboot user once you're finished with it.
