Why is Windows XP Tablet Edition is not a supported OS for EEPC 6.x?

Can anyone explain why Windows XP Tablet Edition is not a supported OS for EEPC 6.x ?

I can see a list of all the officially supported OS's as per KB document KB68053, but was after some clarification on why it's not supported.

Reason being, I've got a number of devices that need to be encrypted that have XP Tablet Edition for their OS - and I need to explain 'why' they aren't supported.  Is it solely because the OS's virtual keyboard won't show in the pre-boot environment?

My devices are Toshiba Portege's and have physical keyboards, so would be able to enter details at the pre-boot stage.  They also 'pass' the EEGO test.

Thanks in advance for any info...
