Perhaps all you need to do is uninstall and reinstall.
Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a Program (Add or Remove Programs in XP)
Uninstall any McAfee product and then run the MCPR cleanup tool listed under 'Useful Links' at the top of this page.
Reboot and go to your online account page and reinstall the product.

Thank you for your quick response, I uninstalled mcafee. I registered to the mcafee just now. I cant remember the original registration code, username etc. Im using the same computer. Can Mcafee somehow find out my orininal registration data from my IP?
