INSTALLATION OF McAFEE INTERNET SECURITY 2012 IN AN ISOLATED NETWORK

      Hi,

We bought 24 McAfee licenses in order to install the McAfee Internet Security product in several computers and servers with the operating systems Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP. The problem is that due to security reasons our computer network is completely isolated so it is not possible to provide the computers and servers an Internet connection during the installation process. Furthermore, in the installation CD is only provided the installer and it needs a connection to the McAfee server in order to download every product's update and complete the installation process.

Is there any way to complete the installation process without an Internet connection? Thanks in advanced.

      Best regards.

          Moved to SecurityCenter.

Sorry no it isn't but you could call Technical Support to see if they have any workarounds.  It's free and linked under Useful Links at the top of this page although I doubt it.  The installer fetches all the necessary files and updates everything in the process of installing.

By the way the home products aren't compatible with Windows 2003 Server and only with XP if Service Pack 3 is installed.

You are talking about the consumer/home products here?   Not sure because you originsally posted in a forum help area.   I believe but am not sure that the Enterprise products behave differently and the above may be possible.
