    ePO 4.6.3 Ad Sync Just Started Failing


      It had been working for the last month with no problems.  Today I noticed it has been failing on the schedule and it also fails manually.

      I checked to make sure the password did not expire and that the account was not locked out.

      AD works with eO in other ways because I can still log into ePO using my AD account.

      I have already tried adding a registered LDAP server, restarting McAfee services and even a full restart of the ePO server.


      Error says "Synchronization point My Organization failed to connect to active directory server "domainname", user: domainname\username"


      I don't know if this is the issue because it was working until this week, but I notice it says it is trying to connect to server called our domain name instead of the server's host name.


      How can this be solved?
