I think you mean you have this problem after upgrading to MA 4.6 patch 2 from patch 1 - Patch 3 has not been released yet

Thanks for fast reply - and yes - you're right : we speak about Agent Update from 4.6.0 Patch 1 (build 2292) to Patch 2 (build 2918) that causes the issues.
I followed your links to KB72921 and to discussion thread 47362. Is it confirmed that even roll-back to build 2292 on the SuperAgent repositories is not enough to fix it?
As far as I know, rolling back to Patch 1 is all that is required to fix the issue - Patch 1 was not affected by this.
Looks as if new trouble is caused when rolling back...
McAfee Agent 4.6 Patch 2 Windows has been temporarily removed from the McAfee Downloads site due to an issue related to Microsoft Security Update KB2718523.
McAfee Engineering is investigating this issue and will post a fixed build as soon as possible.
