Just a thought.. Do you have the "On Access Scan" set to Scan "On Network Drives"? If so, try UNCHECKING that box and see if it speeds things up. In addition, DameWare may be detected as spyware so have you added it to the "Exclusion" list in the "On Access Scan" settings?

You have to add the exe files on client and on admin pc to it.
