    VSE8.5 : Outlook Hangs...

      Hi All...

      We have an issue with certain computers which are running VSE 8.5 patch 8 and Outlook 2003.

      When the users try open more than one email Outlook hangs ...

      There are many things which could be causing this but the support desk believe it to be Mcafee related and have asked me to investigate this...

      Has anyone had anything similar to this that can offer any suggestions ?

      Please let me know if you require any logs or additional information...

          check the log files (you can access by right clicking on the email epo component in vse console) for the time period, also check OAS log for same time.

          you can turn off the email addon within the addons menu in outlook 2003 to test may also be worth checking you dont have entries from multiple versions of vse eg both an exchange scan and an outlook scan add on when with vse 8.5/8.7 should just be outlook
