I know McAfee deals with medfos!b and medfos!d but if this is a new variant (likely) there may be a delay before it is both detected and removed. I'll look for more information elsewhere and see if there are any 3rd-party tools which might be useful.
However, we need to know whether this PC is running McAfee's home-user or corporate-version set of programs.
OK then you'll have to wait until someone with knowledge of the corporate product answers, sorry. Or else contact whatever help desk you have access to.
Tried scanning in safe mode that allows removal for some malware when using the home version so might also work with the corporate 1.
