    Logging what is downloaded

Is there a way to see what users are downloading.   I would like to see what they are getting and then write rules to stop the things\site that we do not ant to have access to.

      Thanks in advance.

Technically, everything is a download. HTML, JavaScript, Graphics, Style Sheets...everything using a GET request. The only thing not a download is an upload.

if you just want logging, you are doing that already in the access.log.

Web Reporter can do reports based on File Type (the extension) or Content Type (the MIME type)

The default rule sets have a Download Media Types section that will block types of files like executables, zips, docs.

Is that what you want to do?

Media Type filtering is what I am looking for.  I will use the lists to monitor\ block the traffic.
