    Correct process for domain password changes with iOS

      Hi all,

       

      We're piloting EMM within our organisation and have found issues when users need to change their domain password.

       

      • The user successfully changes their password when logged in on the domain.

       

      • Their iPad/iPhone email continues working over EMM with their old password for a couple of hours
      • Eventually email starts prompting for a password but does not accept either the new or old domain password and if tried too many times locks the domain account out.
      • The only way to get email working again is to close it, open the EMM App and enter the new password.

       

      Has anyone else seen this behaviour?  Should we be getting our users to open the EMM App and enter the new password immediately after changing it on the domain?
