Changing the boot sequence won't help - the disk is encrypted. Your only hope is to call your IT helpdesk and ask them to recover your machine. They will have the tools and encryption keys.
I've already did it, and they propose to me to rebuild the whole laptop, they never told me about de-encripting the disk.
I have my pass code to access to win, so why I need to call them in order to change the boot sequence after entry my encrypt password? Is not a way to do it myself?
How will changing the boot sequence help?
Sorry, Maybe I'm mispelling or explain myself wrong.
I changed my network domain to a workspace, I've restarted the laptop. Then the encrypt login is shown, I filled with my user and password, after that XP is asking me login in as an Admin. I forgot my admin pass, I have my user/pass but can't login in with my user. After searching a little, seems that you can boot as a new instalation but you can reset the admin password.
So, my intention is get into the win again, and get it back to the domain again. I have information that I want to backup to avoid this issue in the future.
make sense? How I can reset the boot sequence or how can i backup the information without login as an Admin? I'm still trying to find the pass or a way to use my user to get into it.
Thanks in advance.
Your drive is encrypted - if you change the boot sequence nothing will work at all.
The only way to get back into windows is to get your it team to decrypt the machine, then use some windows rescue system.
Or, your it team might have a wintech cd.
But, without their help you will not be able to do anything.
You need to decrypt it and fix your windows..
