Automatic SDAT update

Hi Team,

 

Kindly let me know whenever updating the mcafee 8.7i it's not opening the update window & not getting updated also,

 

But after restarting the systems only it' getting updated.

 

Please give me the suggastion whether without restarting the system  we can update the mcafee.

    I said I have emoved this post to the correct forum as you posted in the home product forum. We mods there are not familiar with the business product so moved the post to the business enterprise forum so someone could assist you.

     

    8.7 is a business product.

    Could you help us understand the issue more?

     

    e.g.

    What happens when you invoke the update manually, using the VSE Console?

    Do you know what Update tasks are scheduled (whether they are local or via ePO), and when they are scheduled to occur?

     

    Because, it sounds like you have an Update task scheduled to run on Startup.

    And instead you might want to choose a Daily update - just look at how the task is configured, and set it to what you want it to be. But if you are ePO managed, you should talk to your ePO administrator instead.
