Our desktop support team has been experiencing another possible malware infection. All of the icons are removed from the users’ desktop and the workstation is unusable. This also includes the start menu and task bar. It is user profile specific. If the desktop team logs in with another account, the problem goes away. They have used many removal tools to try and resolve the problem, but to no avail. They have verified plug and play services are running, files are not hidden, etc. They have had six workstations with the problem. Anyone else having the same issue?
We are performing weekly scans on Friday evenings, memory scans every three hours and Artemis set on high.
