- ü Open McAfee security center
- ü Click on the option About in the Top right corner
- ü Check the versions of the below and update it

I have the same problem too.
my os is window 7 Home premium.
I use broadband cable for internet.
- McAfee security center : 11.0
- McAfee Virus scan : 15.0
- DAT version : 6764
- DAT Creation Date : 6/7/2012
I tried to manual click update, but it still pop up this problem
What should I do to solve it?
Try a manual update
Use the method described for the 6772xdat.exe update do not use the superdat method. I assume your date and PC time is correct and you have not installed another scanner?
Try running MVT the virtual Technician doe sthat fix it?

Ya i tried that but used the superdat one. However it say "Error: Product already running latest engine", so i check again and the dat version is 6772. And the problem is gone so thanks anyway.
Keep an eye on the update issue to confirm it updates tomorrow/Monday as well. good luck
Hi, I realise my mcafee been having the same problems a few time and I always have to manual update my self. Can Mcafee fix this bug?
