Question moved from Consumer Home section to Business ePO for attention
Agent update and Agent communication are two independent things. Agents can fail to communicate with ePO but still update from any available repository.
Please attach the Agent log file(s) usually named Log, Log.1, Log.2 etc . These are found in /opt/McAfee/cma/scratch/etc folder. Also, grab a copy of the server.log with matching timeframe.
Found what was the issue .
Since these servers were Clone of old server, AgentGUID of old server was copied on these servers .
Hence had to remove AgentGUID=sz(XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) in registry.ini under /opt/Mcafee/cma/scratch
1 . Remove AgentGUID=
2. Restart CMA and NAILS service .
this will generate new GUID for cma and server will be able to communicate to EPO .
