I'm new to McAfee so maybe this is a real basic option. We are currently running VirusScan 8.8 with ePo 4.5 (on it's way to be upgraded to 4.6). I'm currently trying to understand all those policies that we have in place. What I don't understand is the way the inheritence work. For example, let say I have groups like that:

So the Root folder is Servers and there's sub groups for each type. If I work with the exclusions, is there a way to create a global policy on the Servers group, and another policy on each sub group that will just add what's missing? Or the only way is to block the inheritence on the sub group, copy the global policy, add what's missing in the copy and assign that copy to the sub group?
