    Virus Scan and Parallels Desktop

I am running VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0i on Windows XP on a virtual, Parallels run machine. My scan is showing 20+ detections for temporary internet files that are encrypted, even though I use my mac partition for connecting to the internet. These temp files are not scanned. Is there a way to fix this so that these files are scanned? Or is this a normal Parallels driven find.

      Thanks

          Hi.

I've seen that problem with physical Windows XP machines and I didn't had luck at the McAfee Knowledge base.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to do with Parallels. Instead try to guarantee that the mcshield.exe is running with a user with permissions to read files in the user home.
It might be a security policy or something.

          Hope it helps,
