I have no idea, but probably the first thing I would try would be to re-deploy the agent to a few of the machines using the force install option and see if it makes any difference.
Probably it won't be that simple, but you never know.
It got resolved. While installing patch it makes temporary change not to report Virusscan to epo.It reverts to after installation. To reprot registry key value is 0 while nstalling it makes the 8. In my case it never reverted to 0 for patch1.
the registry is - hklm-software-network associates-epolicy orchestor-plugins-virusscan8700- plugin flag.
