I am currently experiencing a problem with VSE 8.8 P1 installations.
After previous successful installations and hours of reporting properly to the ePO server some systems suddenly report no VSE installed to the ePO server.
Locally on the system the user can no longer open the Virus Scan Console.
Once this occurs no amount of manual Uninstall / Install attempts or automated attempts via client task on the ePO server help.
We have just had one of these in our environment as well, we tried re-installing the mcafee agent + re installing the .msp patch to 8.8P1 to see if this would take but to no avail.
Only a single machine so going to try a 'remove everything mcafee' and then manually remove VSE and then put it all back on.
