Unfortunately, there is no exclusion for specific domains as the VSE scans scripts (ScriptScan) and all files on the computer (Temp Internet Files).
If you have a file that the scan engine is taking a while to scan, you can submit the file to McAfee AVERT (submit a virus sample) and report the issue. You will have to reply to the auto response with the case # in the subject.
If you have a support agreement, the best bet is to contact McAfee support and they can investigate and escalate the issue. It could help if you could provide a copy for testing (if allowed).
