Problem changing NTFS rights on c:\Program Files\xxxxxx

      Hi all,

I'm using EPO 4.6, Mcafee agent 4.6 and Virus Scan 8.8.

Looks like McAfee is preventing an administrator (local admin on workstations) to change the rights on C:\Program Files. I'm not sure what is happening, but I get "ACCESS DENIED" when trying to "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent" in the advanced security option on C:\Program Files.

When I unlock the user interface and shut down Mcafee manually, I'm now able to change the security on that folder.

Is there a McAfee option/policies that I can have a look at, so I'm able to make that change without shuting down McAfee?

We ran into a problem when we deployed a software few months ago. For some reason it removed all the rights to C:\Program Files on about 250 computers.

I checked the AccessProtectionLog and don't see anything about the folder I'm trying to change security.

      Any advices?

      Thank you
