Best way is report it as per here
When you get the reply immediately click reply and change subject line to say "False +ve Generic Packed Trojan" In file name
If you get no reply of it is still detected in 3 days post back and I will bypass the waiting. When you post include teh analysis ID you get in the reply.
Try the GetSusp option mentioned in the link Tony posted.
Use it's Upload tab as per instruction found here: http://www.mcafee.com/us/downloads/free-tools/how-to-use-getsusp.aspx
I'm not sure if the 10mb limit is enforced using that method.
If you experience any problems join the GetSusp Group and then we will move this thread there.
How to add ths false report file in excluded list?
Because i dont want McAfee guard and check this file. . .
There is no exclusion list of that type yet, we have been asking for this for a long time. You would have to disable VirusScan for long enough to reinstate the file from quarantine and use GetSusp Upload tab to send it to McAfee.
1gb will not work the upload time would be high as well. Post the file name and link to where to get it and I will pass it onto a lab tech.
If they cannot get it maybe we can organise them to setup a ftp folder for you to put it in.
Post the details please.
Ok what you posted might be enough but better you summarise the detaails rather than me miss something.
Better you can contact McAfee Technical support and request them FTP location so that you can able to upload the huge size of suspected files.
Note : generally we (Enterprise custoemrs) request them FTP location and then we upload the suspected files but am not sure about home uses kidly cinfirm with them
Pointed a tech here though is not it the case that the file triggering the detection is launcher.exe? The 1gb is all the folder for the game so can you zip up the file launcher.exe or it is the 1gb+?
Your pic above says the folder has a zip file so can the file in question be extracted?
